Today is National Day of Prayer, and I wanted to take a moment, to remind everyone how important Prayer is. We pray to our Heavenly Father so that he can see our Faith and react to our petitions. God knows what you need, desire and deserve, but it is up to us to ask for His help.
We serve a God that will not force you into relationship with Him, so coming to Him in Prayer, is our way of inviting Him into the situation. God wants to be invited into every aspect of your life. He wants to know the smallest thing that happened to the biggest thing that happened. He wants to take your hand and lead you into the life that He has purposed for you, and the only way to do that is through Prayer.
You can never Pray enough, you can never ask God for to much, or to many times. We have come to believe that we need to ask God for something one time, and that is not true. You can Pray for the same thing every day, or every time you Pray. God is here to help you and Love you.
When you Pray, and come to God, with Faith, you are strengthening your relationship with God. You are allowing Him to know you deeper and you get the chance to know Him intimately. Never be worried about the Prayers you share with God. Know that He knows your heart, and hears your cries. Your Prayers don't have to be elaborate and eloquent, they just need to come from your heart, and come from a place of Truth and Trust.
Take some time today, and everyday, to Pray to your Savior. Remember the people you love, and even the people we struggle with. Prayer is the key to opening up the door to the life that God has planned for you.
ASK...BELIEVE...RECEIVE!!! PRAYER WORKS!!!
